Margarita

1.5oz (45ml) Orendain Blanco
0.5oz (15ml) Cointreau
1oz (30ml) fresh lime juice
Lime wedge for garnish
Salt or sugar to rim the glass (optional)

 

Preparation

Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and shake well.
If desired, salt the rim of a chilled margarita glass.
Pour contents, with ice, into the glass.
Garnish with the lime wedge.

Tequila Sunrise

4oz (120ml) orange juice
2oz (60ml) Orendain Reposado
0.5oz (15ml) grenadine
Orange slice and cherry for garnish

 

Preparation

Pour the tequila and the orange juice into a highball glass with ice cubes and stir.

Slowly pour the grenadine around the inside edge of the glass – it will sink and slowly rise to mix with the other ingredients naturally.

Garnish with the orange slice and cherry.

Paloma

2oz (60ml) Orendain Reposado

6oz (180ml) fresh grapefruit soda

0.5oz (15ml) lime juice

Salt for rimming (optional)

 

Preparation

Rim a highball glass with salt.

Fill the glass with ice, add the tequila and lime juice.

Top it off with grapefruit soda.

Bloody Maria

2oz (60ml) Orendain Blanco

1 teaspoon (5ml) horseradish

3 dashes of Tabasco sauce

3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce

Dash of lime juice

3 pinches of celery salt

3 pinches of pepper

Tomato juice

1 teaspoon (5ml) Dijon mustard (optional)

Celery stalk for garnish

Lemon and/or lime wedge for garnish

Cucumber and/or cocktail shrimp for garnish (optional)

 

Preparation

Add the ingredients to a highball glass over ice cubes.

Top with tomato juice.

Mix well by rolling back and forth from one glass to another (or stir well).

Garnish with the lemon and/or lime wedge and celery stalk.

Charro Negro

2oz (60ml) Orendain Blanco

3oz (90ml) Cola (soda)

0.5oz (15ml) lemon juice

Pinch of salt

 

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients in a glass with ice.

Put salt on the edge of the glass and decorate it with a slice of lemon.

Petroleo

1.5oz (45ml) Orendain Reposado

1oz (30ml) lime juice

Pinch of salt

Pinch of pepper

A few dashes of Maggi sauce

Dash of Worcestershire sauce

1 sliced serrano chilli

 

Preparation

Pour Orendain Reposado and lime juice into a lowball glass.

Add salt, pepper, Maggi sauce and Worcestershire sauce to taste.

Stir to mix.

Cut serrano chilli in half, top to bottom, and add to glass.

Add ice and serve.

Passion Cocktail

2oz (60ml) Orendain Blanco

3oz (90ml) cranberry juice

1oz (30ml) lime juice

2oz (60ml) Grand Marnier

Lime slice for garnish

 

Preparation

Pour the tequila, cranberry juice and lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, shake well.

Strain into a chilled stemmed glass.

Splash with Grand Marnier.

Garnish with the slice of lime.
